Introduction  : the poet want to convey that all snake's are not dangerous / poisonous as some snake's are harmless we all are fullish as whenever we see snake's we Kill them we all think that all snake's are very dangerous so if we will not kill this snake than this snake will harm us or our family and if some snake's are poisonous also than that snake will not harm us but if we will trouble him then he will definitely harm us 


First stanza

In this staza poet says that the snake is trying to escape from the person who is trying to harm him with the help of stick ( here pursuing means to follow the snake  in order to catch him) with a sudden curving of thin long body and it's shape is also very attractive and beautiful And then he glides through the water in order to save himself from that men.


Second Stanza 

In staza poet says that let him go into the reeds ( here reeds means a tall plant like grass which grows near water ) without harming him this small green  snake is harmless even to children and that snake lay on the sand until someone observed him or chased him and in order to save himself the snake disappears in movement on the surface of water and hides in the bushes of green marshy plant.
